Stortford Interiors and Parkrose win Paddington Central office project

Specialist architectural interior contractor, Stortford Interiors (UK) wins £2.8 million interior fit-out project for the high-end commercial office building, 4 Kingdom Street, Paddington Central.

Appointed by Wates Construction to start works in spring 2016, Stortford Interiors will provide a wide range of services within its ‘Interior Architectural Package Contracting (IAPC)’ offering, which also comprises high-specification finishes by the in-house joinery division, Parkrose.

The 47-week project encompasses the fit-out of the new nine-storey building development with 146,000 sq ft of office space. Designed to maximise space and efficiency, each floor will feature a large corner terrace and a glass pod designed as a creative area. The building will also include a communal roof terrace, providing outside space for break-out, entertaining and sporting facilities, as well as encouraging urban biodiversity.

Stortford Interiors is set to deliver the design and installation of a wide range of bespoke products with high end finishes, including drywall packages, metal-pan suspended ceilings, glass wall details as well as specialist joinery from Parkrose; laminate faced door sets, ironmongery, Douglas Fir panelling, seamless skirting and architraves, and external balcony decking.
