‘Stortford Interiors’ (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose will shortly commence work on a Doorset package for one of London’s landmark redevelopments, Ilona Rose House. Just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road Station, Ilona Rose House will deliver new shops and restaurants, along with high-quality office space for the creative industries. The vision is to create a stylish new hub for workers, visitors and residents. The site will be complimented by rooftop gardens, public art and transformed streetscape along Manette Street and through to a new walkway into Greek Street. Soho Estates is working with an experienced professional team to develop the site, including award-winning architectural practices, MATT Architecture and SODA.
Appointed by Sir Robert McAlpine, Parkrose have secured a comprehensive Doorset and Ironmongery package scope. The award includes both flush timber and metal doorsets, with all fire rated doorsets installed in strict compliance with the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Installation scheme. The scheme has been designed to provide reassurance to specifiers, contractors and end users that the product they have chosen has been installed correctly and that it should perform as intended. Parkrose Doorset Compliance Manager, Kevin Woods, will monitor and audit all stages of the installation.
