Stortford Interiors are proud to announce that we have recently secured a significant drywall and ceilings package at 50 Berkeley Street for Main Contractor BAM.
The Berkeley Street scheme sits in the heart of Mayfair and involves the demolition and replacement of the upper floor mansards with efficient and expansive lightweight floors and the infilling of atria to provide 280,000 sq ft of high-end prime office space. The sensitive cut and carve project will provide shared amenity space, enhanced public realm areas and terracing with exceptional views across the capital to suit its modern occupier.
The multi-million pound package will see Stortford deliver a substantial performance drywall and beam and column encasements scope coupled with modular and monolithic ceiling membranes across all floors and will see us draw upon our experience of delivering high-end quality driven commercial spaces. Works will commence in Q4 2024 with completion set for mid-2025.
Scott Shearing (Managing Director) remarked ‘……once more our considerable pre-construction and front-end efforts have enabled us to secure this prestigious project. The team worked tirelessly to understand risk and find solutions for the Client. A lot of work went into recognising the logistical challenges of the scheme and identifying installation methodologies that are going to be appropriate and will work for the stakeholders…….our efforts have proved fruitful and we look forward to delivering another scheme with BAM and reinforcing a strong relationship’.
