Stortford raise money for ‘Action Medical Research for Children’
Further to our ‘success’ of a few years ago Stortford Interiors have decided to enter two teams to compete in the Race the Sun charity triathlon event in early September.
‘Stortford Inferiors’ have been resurrected once more and 8 recruits shall be cycling, trekking and canoeing our way around Helvellyn in the Lake District all in the name of Action Medical Research for Children.
Scott Shearing, Enda Gallagher and Mark Packer (returning from Hong Kong for the event) are the veterans of the team and will be joined by Michael Mahon, Chris Parker, Richard Austen, Lee Moore and Alec Zakiewicz.
The teams are aiming to complete the challenge in c 8 hrs, training is starting to gain momentum and weight is being shed (?) all in the name of a very worthy cause.
