Stortford Interiors are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a substantial Architectural Fit-Out package for Main Contractor BAM, at 21-29 Glasshouse Street, London W1.
21-29 Glasshouse Street is located in the heart of the West End and spans a section of Glasshouse Street and Regent street to the rear. The listed property is owned by the Crown Estates and the significant refurbishment of this landmark building will provide new structure to enhance existing levels. The works will provide a new rationalised core layout to optimise office floor plates and provide 22,000 sq ft of mixed use commercial premises that includes retail provisions at basement and ground floor in addition to a roof top terrace. The deep retro -fit will deliver energy and sustainability improvements to this prime Quadrant 3 premises.
The multi-million pound award will see Stortford Interiors and their in-house joinery division, Parkrose deliver an expansive architectural package to the main floor plates, core areas, common areas and washrooms. The scope will include performance drywall partitions, linings, shaft wall constructions and beam encasements with associated ancillaries and decorations. We will also deliver a proprietary ceilings package and install an array of ceiling membranes. The broad remit will also see Parkrose deliver general internal timber doorsets, skirting, timber panelling and bespoke joinery to reception and lounge areas including reception desks, bars, planters, banquette seating and a variety of wall finishes. Parkrose will also utilise their class-leading washroom fit-out expertise to deliver a turn-key solution with sub-floors, sanitary ware, IPS modules, cubicle systems, FF&E and MEP captured in the appointment.
