Stortford Interiors are delighted to announce that we have recently commenced works on a major residential drywall package at the iconic Battersea Power Station.
Working in conjunction with Sir Robert McAlpine (who has been appointed as Construction Manager) Stortford Interiors will deliver a multi-million-pound drywall package to Phase 3.
Phase 3 is a key part of the Battersea Power Station project which features over 1,300 new homes, a hotel, shops and restaurants, and a new London Underground station. The phase has been designed by world-renowned architects, Gehry Partners, and Foster + Partners, and will include a new pedestrianised high street and Electric Boulevard, which will run from the new Underground station up to the former Power Station.
Stortford Interiors remit is to deliver drywall and ceilings to Block 01 which includes 232 apartments spread over 15 floors. The scheme demands the highest quality installation with a scope that includes high-performance partitions, proprietary corridor ceilings and bespoke facade interface detailing.
The project will permit Stortford Interiors once again to demonstrate their experience, knowledge and class-leading abilities to deliver a challenging and exacting drywall package.
Scott Shearing BD & Pre-Con Director stated: ‘We have been appointed because of our proven track record and know-how. This isn’t a straight forward drywall scheme and The Client has recognised value in our proactive stance with project stakeholders and meticulous attention to detail’.
