Stortford Interiors Midlands Business Unit are extremely proud to announce that we have been awarded a significant drywall package award at Sandwell Aquatics Centre for Main Contractor Wates Construction.
The state-of-the-art facility will create a lasting legacy for community health and wellbeing with its 50m Olympic-sized swimming pool as well as a 25m diving pool, community swimming pool and spectator gallery. In addition the project will also provide a suite of activity studios, sports hall, gym, cycling studio and a raft of treatment rooms and changing facilities.
Our Midlands Team remit will include an expansive SFS and drywall package that captures a 23m high wall construction and numerous interface complications. The technical package will see Stortford work in close conjunction with manufacturer Siniat to provide appropriate construction solutions to counter high humidity and chlorine levels synonymous with swimming pool environments.
