Stortford Interiors are proud to announce that they have secured a multi-million pound package award at Shepherdess Walk, Islington N1 for Main Contractor Sir Robert McAlpine.

The project includes the extensive refurbishment and re-cladding of two existing 1980s office buildings, the introduction of high quality finishes, a new pattern fenestration and the addition of a sixth storey to provide a modern 130,000 sq ft commercial space for developer Stanhope PLC.

The architectural scope for Stortford Interiors is extensive and includes drywall to core and performance perimeter linings. The field areas are to receive both MF ceilings and bespoke mesh ceiling rafts to central spine areas. In addition to the drywall Stortford’s in-house joinery division Parkrose are set to deliver a comprehensive joinery package including door sets, timber wall paneling, bespoke slatted screens, reception desk, lockers and FF&E.

In conjunction with this architectural remit Stortford’s also captured the internal tiling package throughout the scheme including tiling to washrooms and feature stair cores.

BD & Pre-Construction Director Scott Shearing stated ‘ We have worked exceptionally hard to secure this award and proposed an array of solutions to satisfy performance criteria and provide best-value for the project. Our architectural scope is expansive and permits us to closely manage our own interfaces and ease co-ordination with adjoining trades……………we look forward to delivering another successful scheme and working in close conjunction with the project stakeholders.’
