Stortford Interiors are pleased to announce that we have secured a substantial ‘early works’ architectural package at the Olympia Exhibition Halls for Main Contractor Laing O’Rourke.
The West London project will see refurbishment and modernisation of the existing exhibition halls and adding 51,000m² of office, studios and co-working space across its site.
The new centre will also house a four-screen arthouse cinema, a 1,000-seat performing arts space, a 1,500-seat theatre, 900m² of performance and rehearsal space, a new jazz club-style restaurant and venue, shops, cafés, hotels and new public space, including pedestrianised squares and a sky garden.
The appointment will see Stortford deliver a drywall, ceilings and door sets package in addition to a turn-key washroom fit-out scope via in-house joinery division Parkrose.
The award will enable Stortford to demonstrate its in-house design capabilities and its ability to delivery first class quality within challenging programme parameters.
Scott Shearing (BD & Pre-Con Director) claimed: ‘Its great to be part of this formidable redevelopment. The works will breathe new life into this Iconic site and the project will afford Stortford and Parkrose fabulous opportunity on both existing and new build elements’.
