Stortford Interiors (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose has recently been awarded a new Architectural Fit-Out package at Building N6, One Thames City, by Mace.
One Thames City is an exclusive new district for London in Nine Elms, SW8. The mixed-use development comprises 12 buildings with over 1,400 new homes, shops, restaurants and commercial spaces and 2.5 acres of public open space. This area borders a section of the new Linear Park, a cycle and pedestrian route that runs the entire length of Nine Elms. It is integral to the regeneration of the wider area and close to the new Nine Elms tube station under construction for the Northern Line extension. Building N6 is an 18-storey residential tower of luxury apartments.
Parkrose Joinery & Fit-Out Business Unit will deliver a varied works package comprising drywall partitions, MF ceilings, screeding, ceramic tiling, decorations & doorsets to the central core area. The package scope also captures cabinetry, veneered panelling, metal ceilings, doorsets and FF & E to the basement and other back of house areas including the management suite & car park. The award represents a great opportunity for Parkrose to deliver its second major project for Mace in London, with the Washroom Fit-Out works at UCLE Marshgate already underway.
