Project Outline

Grahame Park is a redevelopment in Colindale, NW9 developed by Notting Hill Genesis in partnership with Barnet Council. Grahame Park is Barnet’s largest housing estate, originally comprising 1,777 homes when the first residents moved in in 1971. Regeneration of the Colindale site started in 2007 following the signing of a Principal Development Agreement by the Council and Genesis.

Stortford Interiors (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose, secured the joinery package for the first 209 homes of Grahame Park, working with the residential division of Wates Group. Wates’ appointment by Notting Hill Genesis marked the beginning of Stage B of the project and forms the next part of the wider masterplan for the area, which includes more than 2,000 new homes, new retail, workspaces, private gardens, open space, community and health facilities, a revitalised Heybourne Park and a new main street.

The appointment saw the Parkrose team deliver a substantial Joinery works package comprising veneered timber entrance doorsets, painted timber in ternal doorsets, ironmongery, wardrobes, timber staircases, skirtings, fitted kitchens, vanity units, mirrored bathroom cabinets and FF&E. The scope also extended to Birch-faced wall panelling to lift lobbies and bespoke joinery to the communal entrances.
