Boutique Hotel & Luxury Spa
Appointed by Multiplex under a CM Contract for Client Arab Investments Ltd, Stortford Interiors delivered a broad architectural package in the conversion of this Grade II listed mansion. The scheme involved the initial refurbishment of the former Clock-house followed by the transformation of the 17th Century Palladian Mansion House into an exclusive Boutique Hotel and Luxury Spa.
Renowned for their quality and process driven approach Stortford Interiors designed and installed an expansive multi-disciplined package that included drywall, suspended ceilings (MF and metal pan) and extensive fire stopping scope. The interface with the existing Listed building fabric was of primary importance and the package also captured heritage lime plaster, fibrous plaster and GRG cornice repairs.
Feature polished plaster finishes were included in the scope with high levels of detailing complementing the peerless finish. In addition to the drywall scope an extensive joinery scope was also secured and delivered via in-house joinery division Parkrose. The package included structural carpentry and acoustic raised access floors to bedrooms. An intricate parquet timber floor was also delivered to common and dining areas with plank and soft flooring completing the broad architectural remit.
The project once more permitted Stortford Interiors to demonstrate its understanding of historic, heritage and new fabric installations and interface management to deliver a high quality product.
