Two Chamberlain Square, Birmingham
Two Chamberlain Square is an eight storey, 183,000 sq/ft building, surrounded by the city’s most prestigious listed civic and cultural buildings at the very heart of the Paradise masterplan. Designed by Birmingham-based Glenn Howells Architects, the 40 metre high commercial building features floorplates of up to 24,000 square feet and a stunning terrace overlooking the revamped Chamberlain Square.
At almost 2 million square feet, Paradise Birmingham is delivering up to ten new flagship buildings across a mixed use environment offering offices, shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, a high quality hotel and plans for a 49 storey residential tower, across 17 acres in the heart of the city.
Stortford Interiors were awarded the Ceilings package on this prestigious project by main contractor BAM. The package scope comprised an SAS System 130 ceiling with perforated acoustic tiles within a plasterboard perimeter margin, acoustic STO suspended ceiling with hidden light pelmet, integrated lighting wells and perimeter blind boxes to the reception area. The scope also included the thermal encasement of exterior columns in order to prevent cold bridging. Stortford Interiors delivered a seamless and functional finish across the project
