Stortford Interiors were appointed by Wates Construction to deliver a high quality CAT A commercial scheme in London’s Paddington Central Business District.

The high-profile project for developer British Land included c38,000 sq ft of prime office space spread over 9 floors. Designed to accommodate flexible working trends the building incorporates corner and roof terraces to promote access to outside space.

Stortford Interiors and its joinery division Parkrose captured a wide architectural package scope. The scheme included a high volume metal pan ceiling with bespoke blind box detailing and GRG coffers and upstands.

Special attention was also paid to integrated light troughs all of which had specific performance parameters. The ceiling package was also supplemented by a drywall package to core and perimeter areas. Integrated recessed GRG skirting, corner profiles and architrave detailing was utilised for a high specification and quality finish.
