As you may be aware, as part of my succession planning I have been working with our board of directors towards a management buyout (MBO) of my shares in Stortford Interiors (UK) Ltd. Brendan O’Riordan has, last week, advised me and the board that he has chosen not to participate in the MBO and has decided to pursue a different path in his career. It has therefore been mutually agreed that Brendan resigns from the company with immediate effect and that I will, for the time being, assume the role and responsibilities of the MD role within our business. I wish to thank Brendan for the significant contribution he has made to this business and wish him every success for the future. Following the MBO, it has always been and remains my intention that I retain a shareholding and an active executive role in Stortford Interiors (UK) Ltd in the short to medium term.
