Stortford Interiors’ (UK) Chairman, Jim Nania, has been elected to the Finishes and Interiors Sector (FIS) Board of Directors at the association’s annual general meeting.
The latest accolade follows previous appointments to the Board of the PIA (Partitioning and Interiors Association) and a two-year term as President of the AIS (Association of Interior Specialists) from 2004-2006.
Jim said: “It’s a great honour to have been elected to the FIS Board of Directors by fellow members, which I also view as recognition of the hard work and commitment of everyone at Stortford Interiors. As a business, we’ve always endeavoured to support our peers and my appointment will further facilitate our efforts in helping others reach their aspirations.”
Jim is joined by five others newly elected Board Directors who are FIS members representing contractors and suppliers.
Other new board members representing contractors are Carole Bailey, group financial director at Dulley Ceilings and Partitions and Paul Coombe, head of construction at Astins. Representing suppliers are Deborah Gore, HR director at Encon Groupr; Noel Healy, divisional drylining director at SIG and John Pryer, sales director at British Gypsum.
All six join the board that includes Steve Coley, FIS President; Howard Luft, managing director at CCF; Jon Riley, managing director at Locker and Riley; Andrew Measom, managing director at Measom Dryline; Gary Rice, director at CAP Ceilings and Partitions; and Andrew Smith, managing director at OWA.
