Stortford Interiors wins 30 Buckingham Gate project
Specialist architectural interior contractor, Stortford Interiors (UK) has secured the complex interior fit-out project of 30 Buckingham Gate, which is on the doorstep of the UK’s most famous residence in Westminster, London.
Appointed by Faithdean, Stortford Interiors will aid with the refurbishment and remodelling of the Victorian building into a flagship business headquarters in one of Central London’s most iconic boroughs and less than a 5-minute walk from Buckingham Palace.
Stortford Interiors will deliver a wide range of specialist core services including a bespoke drywall and ceiling package with quality finishes. The scope of the £670,000 Cat A and Cat B project includes drywall partitions and lining and a complex ceiling package using a combination of timber, stretched, metal pan and mineral fibre.
Scott Shearing, BD & Pre-Construction Director of Stortford Interiors said: “We’re excited to collaborate with Faithdean again and deliver a top class fit-out becoming of the area in the shadow of Buckingham Palace.
“Whilst it’s another logistically challenging scheme with tight delivery and distribution constraints, as a resourceful contractor, Stortford Interiors thrives on finding creative ways to overcome challenges and deliver a high quality of work.”
Spenser Mills, Director of Faithdean added: “We’re once again looking forward to working alongside Stortford Interiors who we trust to deliver high quality drywall and ceiling packages, which is an essential part of the project.”
The project is due to be completed in early 2017.
