Stortford Interiors (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a significant Joinery Fit-Out award at 2 Finsbury Avenue. The project will be delivered for one of the UK’s leading engineering and construction companies, Sir Robert McAlpine, and represents the latest appointment for the business as part of the Broadgate Framework. A combination of Joinery and Washroom Fit-Out works have previously been completed at 1 Finsbury Avenue, 135 Bishopsgate, 100 Liverpool Street and 1 Broadgate under the framework arrangement since 2018.
2 Finsbury Avenue (2FA) is located at the largest pedestrianised neighbourhood in Central London, and in the North-West corner of the Broadgate mixed-use campus. The development is a new landmark rising 36 storeys above Liverpool Street, delivering 750,000 sq ft of flexible, high‑performance office space shaped around human behaviour. Typical floorplates are 36,000 sq ft in the podium and 11,000 sq ft in the tower. The development also offers more than 700 sqm of retail space and more than 2,100 sqm of learning space. This is a development by Bluebutton Properties Ltd – a 50/50 joint venture between British Land and GIC.
Parkrose’ comprehensive package scope captures the Fit-Out to the amenity spaces to Levels 1,2 and 13 and includes –
- Timber doorsets and ironmongery throughout including 50db acoustic doorsets.
- Bespoke Joinery units and tea points to meeting rooms, event spaces, co-working study and level 13 Café.
- GIFA raised access floor and all floor finishes including vinyl, carpet and timber through meeting rooms, event/function spaces and co-working study.
- Kvadrat acoustic wall panelling to meeting rooms and event spaces.
- Gustafs wall panelling in vinyl and wood veneer finishes.
- Painting and decorating to various areas.
- London Wall moveable acoustic walls and bi-folding doors.
