Stortford Interiors (UK) Ltd are pleased to announce that we have recently secured a large drywall and ceilings package for Wates Group at The Ribbon in Wells Street, London.
The Ribbon is a commercial led mixed use building including retail, restaurant and leisure facilities on the Corner of Oxford Street and Wells Street. The new 9 storey building provides high quality retail space at basement, ground and first floor level, as well as office accommodation on the floors above. The office benefits from generous floor to ceiling heights and ample daylight, a state-of-the-art cycle centre and shower facility in the basement, and a top floor landscaped terrace with breath-taking views of central London. The building uses passive design and on-site renewables to ensure low energy use and has a focus on flexibility to provide future proofing. The Ribbon will be NetZero Carbon in Operation and will be built to exemplary environment and wellbeing standards, targeting NABERs 5*, WELL Platinum, BREEAM Outstanding, Smart Enabled and EPC Rating A.
The multi-million pound appointment will see Stortford Interiors deliver an expansive drywall scope that includes performance linings and partitions coupled with a wide variety of monolithic ceilings and associated ancillaries. The works are due to commence in September 2024 and finish early in 2025.
