Stortford Interiors (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose are very proud to announce the successful award by McLaren of the Carpentry & Joinery package at Pegasus House and Nuffield House. The 82,600 sq ft scheme from Aviva comprises the redevelopment of Pegasus House on Sackville Street and neighbouring Nuffield House on Piccadilly, and comprises offices, shell and core retail areas, and six residential units on the 7th and 8th floors.
The redevelopment is a heritage-led design, retaining the grade II listed façade and other historic elements of the building’s and recognising the importance of the current buildings’ contribution to the local townscape, while also seeking to re-work the buildings to provide improved office, retail and residential accommodation. Pegasus House will be redeveloped in full with a design tailored to better reflect the original masterplan.
The appointment will see our Joinery Business Unit deliver a large and varied package scope that includes extensive bespoke joinery – Reception Desk, Bench Seating, Storage Cupboards, Shelving Units, Leather Wrapped Handrails and European Oak Veneered & Fabric Wrapped Panelling. It also captures Timber, Steel & Glass Internal Doorsets & Ironmongery, Window Boards, Skirtings, Armourcoat Plaster, Barrier Matting, Cycle Racks, Blinds and general FF&E.
