Stortford Interiors are delighted to announce that we have secured a significant architectural fit-out package at the Equinix Data Centre LD14 for Laing O-Rourke. The project will provide another Data Centre on the Slough campus and represents another opportunity for Stortford Interiors to build upon its longstanding relationship with the project stakeholders.

The appointment will see Stortford Interiors and its joinery division Parkrose deliver a broad architectural scope including performance drywall and ceilings, internal glazed partition systems and a variety of wall and floor finishes. The scope extends to glazed security windows, plastic veneered linings, floor & wall tiling, general and bespoke joinery and FF&E. The scheme will be the fourth data centre that the business has delivered in the Segro Trading Estate, an area now renowned as a global data centre hub.

Scott Shearing (Managing Director) commented ‘After the success of LD11, this new project (LD14) represented a great opportunity for the team to secure further works on the campus and demonstrate our expertise in data centre fit-out. We are proud of this project win and it is testament to the hard work and diligence that the pre-con team invested during the tender window. We look forward to working together with Laing O’Rourke and reinforcing our collective strong reputation in this market sector ’.
