Stortford Interiors are proud to announce that we secured the ‘Social Values Contractor of the Year’ award at the recent Kier Construction London and Thames Valley Supply Chain Awards.

The award was fantastic recognition for our hard work and effort at Future Greenwich Campus. Kier appointed our Joinery Division – Parkrose, to deliver a Carpentry & Joinery package on the project and it represented the ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to social initiatives on the scheme.

Chanade Ramsay (Regional Social Value Lead at Kier) commented: ‘I was proud to present the Social Value Contractor award that reflects the impact of our supply chain partners make beyond the build itself…………Stortford Interiors commitment to delivering meaningful social value alongside quality workmanship is a brilliant example of what partnership looks like in action’.

The award was collected by our MD Scott Shearing who stated ‘…the Parkrose team at Future Greenwich have done a fantastic job in delivering a great product and leaving behind a legacy beyond the build. We utilised the TOM’s system to measure and report our contribution and I’m very proud of the difference we are making’.

The evening was great fun and especially successful as not only did Stortford Interiors secure the Social Values award but also received runners-up plaudits for Contractor of the Year (Value <1m) and a notable mention in the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category. Well done All.
