Stortford Interiors (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose are delighted to announce the recent award of a substantial turnkey washroom fit-out package at 2 Aldermanbury Square, for multi-national construction giant Lendlease. This new London building development for Great Portland Estates is located in the heart of the City, adjacent to London Wall, in close proximity to four transport hubs, and only five minutes’ walk from the Queen Elizabeth line Moorgate station. It’s adjacent to the Culture Mile, including the Museum of London, and Barbican Centre.

The landmark development involves the demolition of the existing building and structure at 55 Basinghall Street (City Place House) and the construction of of 29,658m2 (NIA) office space, including the creation of individual terraces and a new pedestrian route through the site and associated landscaping works. In addition, it will provide 144m2 (NIA) of retail space, and 737m2 (NIA) of reception area located on the ground floor. Office use is planned for the Lower Ground level and 1st to 12th floors.

The appointment will see Parkrose Washroom Business Unit deliver a comprehensive turnkey fit-out package. The mix of super-loos and traditional cubicle layouts will feature our bespoke modular cubicle system finished in Oak veneer fronts and Laminate dividers, with panelling and doorsets to match. The scope also includes our modular laminate faced IPS system, GIFA calcium silicate flooring, ceramic floor tiling and Kerrock / LG-Hi-macs clad joinery vanity units. A full FF&E package including Dolphin Alavo Units and modular ceilings comprising of Metal Mesh, MDF and Plasterboard complete the architectural remit. The multi-million-pound award also captures a full MEP scope to the washroom vicinity inclusive of sanitaryware, Public Health, DWS, lighting and Small Power requirements which will be designed, procured, and installed by our in-house team
