Stortford Interiors (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose are delighted to announce that we have secured a substantial Joinery fit-out package at The GPA Hub in First Street, Manchester.
Wates Smartspace were appointed by The Government Property Agency (GPA) to carry out the Category B (Cat B) fit-out of its First Street Hub, a new government office in Manchester city centre.
Launched as part of the GPA’s Government Hubs Programme, the Manchester First Street Hub will accommodate around 2,600 civil servants from departments including the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted), and the Department for Education (DfE). The project is set for completion in Autumn 2026
The appointment by Wates Smartspace will see Parkrose’ Joinery Business Unit deliver a comprehensive Joinery Fit-Out package. The wide-ranging scope includes Internal Doorsets, Ironmongery & associated Automation. The scope also extends to Refreshment Hubs, Timber Screens, Print Hubs, Coat Cupboards, Acoustic Wall Panelling and Writable Walls. The award will enable Parkrose to again demonstrate its in-house design capabilities, provide unique architectural solutions and deliver a major Joinery scheme to peerless quality parameters.
