Stortford Interiors are excited to announce that we are about to embark upon a Prostate Cancer Awareness and Fundraising campaign.
In the UK Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer amongst men and about 1 in 8 males will have it at some point in their lives. Over 47,000 men every year are diagnosed with the disease and 400,000 men in the UK are living with and after Prostate Cancer.
Stortford Interiors will raise awareness of this prevalent cancer in association with Prostate Cancer UK and through a series of initiatives and fundraising activities will inform our staff, Clients and stakeholders how to reduce risks of getting this disease whilst making donations to this incredibly important charity.
This cause is very close to the heart of Stortford Interiors. Two of our long-serving Project Managers, Gary Plastow and Mark Thompson are currently battling the disease and now more than ever is an appropriate time to bring Prostate Cancer awareness, it’s symptoms, risk reduction and treatments to the fore.
Both Gary and Mark will be sharing their story with us throughout the campaign and we thank them for their time and efforts.
To start our campaign all Stortford Interiors & Parkrose operatives will receive branded Hi-Vis vests with the Man of Men logos signaling our support of this charity. Posters and badges will adorn our sites and Prostate Cancer Tool Box Talks will be conducted by the Board of Stortford Interiors.
The Stortford Interiors Golf Day will be closely affiliated with Prostate Cancer UK and a multitude of other fundraising activities will also be held including a Man of Men Club-Club march and Wolf Run – details to follow!
