Stortford Interiors (UK) in-house joinery division, Parkrose are delighted to have closed out 2024 with the successful award of a Carpentry & Joinery package at Royal Bournemouth Hospital for IHP (Integrated Health Projects). Integrated Health Projects is an established joint venture between VINCI Construction UK Limited and Sir Robert McAlpine Limited and work in partnership with Health and Social care Clients to develop outstanding healthcare solutions which put the needs of service users and staff first, providing services and facilities that reflect the business aims of each individual Client.
The Hospital provides health care for the residents of Bournemouth, Christchurch, East Dorset and part of the New Forest. Some specialist services cover a wider catchment area, including Poole, the Purbecks and South Wiltshire. It’s catchment population is covered by Dorset and West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and it is set to become the major emergency hospital for East Dorset, with a number of exciting changes on the horizon over the coming years
The appointment will see our Joinery Business Unit deliver a package scope that includes Internal Doorsets & Ironmongery, Timber Skirtings, Aluminium Internal Screens, Internal Roller Shutters and Reception Desks as part of the comprehensive Fit-Out of both the Oncology Ward and Surgical Admissions Unit.
