Stortford Interiors and Parkrose win multi-million pound Kings Court residential project
Stortford Interiors (UK) has been awarded a multi-million pound project by Sir Robert McAlpine to deliver bespoke interior fit-out and joinery packages for high-end residences at the new Kings Court development in Covent Garden.
The win combines core drywall services from Stortford Interiors and a washroom fit-out package from specialist in-house joinery division, Parkrose for 45 premium apartments, centred around a new public courtyard and surrounded by retail and restaurant units.
In keeping with Stortford’s exacting values, careful interface management is required between new and existing heritage features to compliment the surrounding historical architecture, including the development’s acoustics.
An example of the superior quality of the washroom project is a large stone package – to the value of over £1m – which incorporates bespoke single piece shower trays with integrated honed falls.
Steven Harvey, Joinery Director at Parkrose said: “We’re very pleased that Sir Robert McAlpine has again seen the value in combining our core and specialist joinery packages for this project, having previously seen the quality results on separate past schemes at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Eaton Court.
“Stortford Interiors has been trusted to deliver an outstanding service against an aggressive 60-week build programme and the tight logistics of working in the heart of Covent Garden – we can’t wait to see the luxurious end-product!”
