Stortford Interiors (UK) Ltd are pleased to announce that we have recently secured a large drywall package for Sir Robert McAlpine at the prestigious Westbury Hotel in Mayfair, London.
The Westbury, Mayfair revered throughout the world for its wealth of elegant stores and exclusive brands is set to undergo a major refurbishment with the creation of 196 guestrooms and suites to a 5+ star standard and include world class accommodation and signature guest rooms, restaurants, bars, lounges, conference and function rooms and new spa facilities. Westminster council have approved the partial demolition of the existing building, extension of guest floor levels 1 to 7 to the rear and creation of a new level 8 floor for suites. The facades are to be retained but enhanced and the rear elevation receives a completely new external shell.
Stortford Interiors initial remit will be to deliver drywall to shell and core including fire rated slab and soffit treatments. The onus will be on delivering a quality and complaint installation, befitting of this high-end scheme and ready for intimate interfaces during the later fit-out phase.
